If it was a sofa that needed to be “converted” in the future, that might be easier to find (while not cost effective). The modular aspect is often that a unit (sofa) can be set up a number of different ways (2 one arm pieces and an armless, 1 one arm loveseat and 1 one arm seat, or a one piece sofa).
